This introduction to mindfulness course at Cullercoats Community Centre could be the answer for you. The course runs on a Thursday evening from 5.30 to 7pm each Thursday in September for 4 weeks. It will provide an experiential introduction to mindfulness exercises and to the attitude that we try to cultivate with mindfulness.
Chris Penlington, trained mindfulness teacher and clinical psychologist has been teaching mindfulness for 3 years in the NHS, private practice and for the Mindfulness Association. She is passionate about making the benefits of mindfulness accessible to as many people as possible who could benefit. The 4 week course is therefore priced at just £40. If you are on benefits, or for some other reason would genuinely find it difficult to find the funds to attend there are also 2 funded places available.
